AGNES STREET BAKERY IS POPPING UP AGAIN DURING COVID-19 LOCKDOWN FROM AUGUST 4-8, open from 7am until sold out!
The petite pop-up European-inspired patisserie is where customers queue to get their hands on freshly baked, wood-fired artisan breads, pizzettes and pastries.
Everything is made fresh daily, in-house from scratch, including flaky pastries, mini pizzas and loaves of sourdough - smoked potato, malted grain and treacle, and buttermilk fruit loaf.
Savoury lovers can purchase pizzettes topped with fermented pumpkin, pork, fennel and sage, or smoked potato and rosemary with gorgonzola; while sweet tooths will salivate over rich, buttery pastries like kouign amann - think baked custard and almond, or freeze-dried raspberry and butter cream.
Bakers' racks are lined with scrumptious eats from choux pastries - milk chocolate and creme fraiche, ginger and rose water brulee - and doughnuts (cinnamon sugar, strawberry jam, roast quince and honey custard) to 'burnt' Basque cheesecakes.
