Carolina Kitchen

In the back streets of Coorparoo an old corner store has been converted into an American kitchen that has locals queuing for hoagies, NY fries, hot dogs, ribs and buffalo wings.

The tiny dining space (which seats about 18) may be no-frills with red checked plastic table cloths and food served in baskets or cardboard plates, but this is elbows on the table, finger-lickin’ territory.

On the menu are traditional hoagies (subs) such as the Philadelphia Classic – pastrami, cream cheese & salad, delectable buffalo wings with blue cheese sauce, barbecue ribs or hamburgers and New York style fries.

If planning to dine in, groups especially are advised to book.
