Brisbane's Mini Farm
Greenbank
UPDATED: THIS BUSINESS HAS PERMANENTLY CLOSED
Brisbane’s Mini Farm at Greenbank provides the perfect opportunity for visitors to get up close and personal to a large array of adorable farm animals, both great and small.
Situated 40km from the Brisbane city, the farm boasts an impressive selection of animals including cows, sheep, goats, horses, ponies, chickens, ducks, geese, pigs, guinea pigs, alpacas, and a cheeky donkey. There’s even a large aviary, home to a colourful collection of budgies.
The baby animal enclosure – featuring lambs, kids, piglets, ducklings and more – is a real highlight, and provides the perfect opportunity for the littlies to feed or cuddle their favourite farm animals.
If you’re worried about the larger animals missing out, then don’t. They’re certainly not shy about heading over to the fence in search of a pat or – ideally – a generous handful of feed.
While here, treat the kids to a pony ride ($5 extra per person) or have a go at navigating your way through the giant inflatable maze.
The onsite café serves a range of snacks, cold drinks and coffee, which can be enjoyed at one of the wooden picnic tables dotted beneath the towering pine trees.
Mini Farm opening hours vary depending on the time of year (school holidays etc), so make sure you check their website before visiting.
