Yum Chat
Metro Arts
Some of Australia’s most renowned creatives gather under one roof at Metro Arts in Brisbane CBD for Yum Chat, one of the signature events of Brisbane City Council's BrisAsia Festival 2016.
Not only is Yum Chat the place to get inspired by Asian-Australian creatives as they provide insights into their work, but it also provides a rare chance to meet leading lights such as Brisbane’s own Li Cunxin, the renowned Artistic Director of the Queensland Ballet.
Attendees will spend a memorable afternoon enjoying casual conversation and Asian tea traditions while Asian-Australian artists and Australians working in Asia provide a glimpse into the contemporary Asian arts scene and the opportunities available.
Need to know - BrisAsia Festival runs from Feb 5-28 and incorporates displays of art, music, contemporary and traditional Asian culture and the Chinese New Year celebrations in the Chinatown Mall.
