Bacchus Restaurant is setting the pace for Melbourne Cup race day with super stylish inaugural The White Luncheon

The White Luncheon is guaranteed to be both gastronomically and visually stunning with guests asked to wear all white for this auspicious occasion.

VIP treatment is standard at Bacchus, with guests receiving a glass of Moet & Chandon on arrival along with freshly shucked oysters and decadent canapes.

Hosted by Restaurant Manager Kevin Puglisevich, together with Sommelier Andrew Giblin, race day guests can expect an afternoon of fine dining with a an indulgent three-course menu created by Head Chef Massimo, matched with Chandon champagne, Chandon Rose and Kaesler Bacchus red and white wines, served throughout the afternoon.

Don your finest white frocks and fascinators for Fashions on the Field with fabulous prizes to we won. Take part in the charity sweepstakes and help raise funds for the Children’s Hospital Foundation.

In addition, Brisbane-based bespoke jeweller and headpiece designer, Bejewelled, will be in attendance; while a dedicated event photographer will be on hand taking photographs, which will be made available for all guests.

Plus, one lucky winner will go home with the ultimate Bacchus door prize - 4 tickets to an Opera Queensland 2019 performance including a Backstage Tour, Wardrobe Tour and rehearsal experience with pre-opera dinner for 2 at Bacchus followed by cheese and red wine after the opera.
