Brisbane City Council's BrisAsia Festival 2016 brings the Taste of Asia to the streets of the CBD in a celebration of Brisbane’s best Asian cooking with delicious food, celebrity chefs and entertainment.
Featuring a variety of bustling Asian food stalls and street performers the Taste of Asia runs from lunchtime through to the early evening on Friday November 19th at Reddacliff Place.
Winners of The Hot Plate, Emi and Marie will be on hand to demonstrate how to recreate their favourite dishes at home, as well as joining a panel discussion about the fusion of traditional and modern cooking techniques.
Need to know – BrisAsia Festival 2016 runs from February 5-28 and incorporates displays of art, music, contemporary and traditional Asian culture. Many of Brisbane City Council’s regular programs such as World Kitchen cooking classes, Bands in Parks and creative workshops will also take on an Asian twist during this time.
