Stones Corner Festival
2018
Stones Corner Festival is one of Brisbane’s best street parties, and this year it will be bigger and better than ever, with an epic line-up of music (this year’s headliner is legendary Brisbane act Custard), food and entertainment.
Presented by the Stones Corner community and now in its 5th year, this family friendly free event showcases all that the historic area has to offer, with an eclectic combination of unique street food, craft beer and wine, market stalls and live music.
For the 2018 music line-up, joining Custard, who will strut the stage to revive their cult pop following live and loud, will be The Mavis’s, Screamfeeder, Shagrock, Eliza and the Delusionals, The Brains trust, Diana Anaid and more.
This year the licensed area has been expanded to include an even bigger beer garden with, for the first time, an awesome VIP experience: a limited VIP Canadian Club & Byron Bay Brewery experience with all the bells and whistles.
At the Yak and Ale Beer Garden, patrons can watch the entertainment action on a big screen, whilst sampling an impressive variety of craft beers, boutique wines, spirits and ciders from local brewers, distilleries and wineries.
A wide range of delicious street food will be provided by some of Brisbne's best food trucks and stalls, while the cafes and restaurants of Stones Corner will all be open to diners.
Meanwhile a line-up of dozens of market stalls along Logan Road will be peddling boutique fashion and accessories, handcrafted home wares and gifts and gourmet treats.
And for the littlest festival goers, there's plenty of fun entertainment such as face painting, jumping castle, petting zoo and other great kids activities.
Need to know - The licensed area at the festival is cashless. *Entry to the festival is free but gold coin donation is appreciated to support the MND and Me Foundation.
Nice to know - In 2018, the Stones Corner Festival is working to raise much-needed funds for the MND and Me Foundation. The not-for-profit organisation works to support and empower those suffering from Motor Neurone Disease, in addition to funding research for a cure. Prior to the event, donations can be made here.
