Sipfest Film Festival

SIPFest (Shorts in Paradise) is the Gold Coast’s premier Short film festival, screening for free in Neal Shannon Park as part of the Surfers Paradise Festival.

Spend the day nearby in the arts and cultural hub of the One Way Street Party and after the sun goes down pull up a beanbag or bring a blanket to settle in and watch a hand-picked selection of the country’s best short films on a HD screen.

From Australia’s hottest young directors come a mix of comedies, thrillers, animation and documentaries, with a panel of industry experts live-judging the entries and the audience getting to vote for the People’s Choice Awards.

Film-goers can bring their own picnic or grab some food from the line-up of excellent eateries on the adjacent street.
