Off The Record

Judith Wright Centre

Off the Record brings two of Australia’s leading singer-song-writers together at The Judy for a rare evening of monumental music performed in an intimate cabaret setting.

APRA award-winner and ARIA award nominee Mark Sholtez (whose past collaborations include Alex Lloyd, Shane Nicholson and Snow Patrol’s Iain Archer) joins forces and harmonies with Luke Kennedy (The Voice Australia Series 2 Runner up) in a line-up of brand new music that evokes shades of Ed Sheeran, John Mayer, James Taylor and Paul Simon.

Since his success and mentoring by Ricky Martin at The Voice Australia, Luke Kennedy went on to release his debut album A Time for Us, which debuted on the ARIA chart and, for this tour, has moved away from his signature operatic numbers to a more pop-influenced sound.

With Mark Sholtez, whose own first album Real Street debuted on the ARIA Jazz charts at number one, Kennedy has found a synergy that fans of both performers will not want to miss in these shows.

Need to know -  Take in a fabulous  double night of cabaret and music - catch Wrecking Ball in conjunction with Off The Record on Nov 21-22 for just $75.
