The Night The River Sings

The Night The River Sings is one of Brisbane’s unique Christmas events, when iconic paddle steamers  the Kookaburra Queens and Lady Brisbane form a festive flotilla to carry punters on a magical carol cruise.

Decked out with Christmas lights and festooned with tinsel, the boats weave their way along the bends of the river, with vistas of lit up riverfront mansions and the twinkling lights of the city.

Along the way there’s a sumptuous seafood buffet and carvery to tuck into, a visit from Santa and a songbook of Christmas carols to be sung.

Need to know – Board the boat at 6pm for a 6.30 departure. Guests are encouraged to bring glowsticks and torches to light up the river as they cruise.
