Ephemere
Kangaroo Point
Ephemere, an intimate salon concert of outstanding Brisbane musicians playing classical French music is sure to be an event par excellence at historic St Mary’s Anglican Church, Kangaroo Point in December.
Topology’s Christa Powell (violin), Bernard Hoey (viola) and Therese Milanovic (piano) are joined by Queensland Symphony Orchestra cellist, Matthew Kinmont in the gracious setting of the church which boasts unbeatable views of the Brisbane River.
The afternoon is going to be a treat for lovers of French music, with compositions including the Ravel trio, Faure's Piano Quartet in C minor, and a couple of delicious surprises thrown in.
If that’s not enough to whet your appetite, afterwards there's a mini soiree on St Mary's lawn with complimentary snacks and a cash bar selling wine and soft drinks and the chance to mingle with the performers.
