Melbourne Cup High Tea
Bacchus Restaurant
Taking Melbourne Cup to the next level of sophistication is Bacchus, with an indulgent afternoon of High Tea and champagne to toast the race that stops the nation.
VIP treatment is standard at Bacchus, and guests will enjoy a champagne cocktail on arrival, a glass of Moet during the race, and all the exquisite culinary finery that is quintessentially what high tea is all about.
For only $70 a ticket, a selection of delicious savoury and sweet treats that are simply mouth-watering will be presented, such as cucumber and rocket ribbon sandwiches, mini bagels with smoked salmon and dill, black brioche with chicken and celery, to freshly-baked scones with French raspberry preserve and warm fruity jalousie, salted caramel macaron and passionfruit meringue tartlets, just to name a few to whet your appetite.
A continuous selection of Harney & Sons Fine Teas will be served, and delightfully, guests have the option to upgrade to enjoy free-flowing champagne throughout the event, if they desire.
Whilst the stunningly enviable surrounds of Bacchus will be the scene from 12.30pm to 3.30pm, guests are invited to continue to celebrate Melbourne Cup and step it up at notch at the glamorous Soleil Pool Bar, with cocktails and music flowing until late. Taking in Brisbane's stunning nightscape, Soleil Pool Bar is the perfect locale to round out a perfect race day celebration.
