Knee Deep

Fresh from wowing the Sydney Festival comes Brisbane’s very own internationally renowned circus troupe Casus who are bringing their wildly successful show Knee Deep to The Judy.

This extraordinary work pushes the physical boundaries of humans and objects as four performers with a dozen eggs push, pull and stretch their way into all manner of unlikely physical feats which test the limits of possibility.

In doing so they expose the fine line between fragility and delicacy and elicit the childlike innocence of discovery in what makes for an unforgettable 70 minute performance.

Now in its 5th year, the raw and visceral show, which started life in Brisbane, has toured the world from Chile to Edinburgh, New York to the Netherlands and Paris to Sydney.

This Brisbane leg of the tour stars four outstanding acrobats, from diverse backgrounds and talents and they include Casus Circus co-founder Natano Fa’anana, Kali Retallack, Jake Silvestro and Jesse Huygh (who, as a Cystic Fibrosis sufferer, brings an extra level of inspiration to the show).
