An Evening with David Hobson sees David taking audiences on a musical journey highlighting his diverse career as he performs classical and pop favourites accompanied by David Cameron on piano.

The dulcet tenor tones of singer and composer, David Hobson, will be familiar to those who've tuned in to Carols By Candlelight or Dancing with the Stars on TV. Now you can catch the man himself at the Ipswich Civic Centre on Friday, 6 November.

Perhaps a little too early for him to warble a Christmas carol – or maybe not – he’ll delight audiences with a repertoire that ranges from baroque music through to contemporary pop.

David is a pro in musical theatre and opera, having recently wowed audiences in the title role of Leonard Bernstein’s musical, Candide, for Opera Queensland. Long before that, he became renowned in Baz Luhrmann’s production of La Bohème playing Rodolfo. And of course who could forget his turn as Caractacus Potts in the delightful production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at QPAC?
