BLUE: The Songs of Joni Mitchell returns to Brisbane Powerhouse on Saturday, January 27, 2024, for the first time since its sell-out season at the Queensland Cabaret Festival in 2017.

Renowned cabaret chanteuse, Queenie van de Zandt, brings the critically acclaimed and Helpmann Award nominated show to Brisbane for two performances only.

Blue: The Songs Of Joni Mitchell

BLUE: The Songs of Joni Mitchell is not just a celebration of an iconic album; it's a love letter from a fan to her hero - the music legend that is Joni Mitchell.

Renaissance woman, painter and poet, Mitchell created a soundtrack for the Woodstock generation and then found a whole new younger audience, through hearing it in films such as Love Actually.

Blue: The Songs Of Joni Mitchell

In the spellbinding show, BLUE: The Songs of Joni Mitchell, Queenie and her 3-piece band pay homage to the timeless artist. Affectionately reinterpreting Mitchell’s music, Queenie reveals the intimate stories behind the haunting songs from the BLUE album, such as A Case of You, River and Little Green, as well as celebrating her greatest hits including Big Yellow Taxi, Both Sides and more.

Blue: The Songs Of Joni Mitchell

Don't miss this enchanting evening of melancholic songs, poetic storytelling, and haunting vocals, performed live in an intimate setting by one of Australia's best musical theatre and cabaret stars, Queenie van de Zandt.
