The Gruffalo

Gardens Theatre Qut

After sell-out seasons around the world, beloved children’s fantasy tale and monster hit The Gruffalo returns to the QUT Gardens Theatre QUT from March 10-17.

Adapted from the Gold award-winning book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, the enchanting musical stage adaptation, which has been the toast of London's West End (and winner of Sydney Theatre Awards Best Production for Children 2015), will dazzle audiences with brand new sets and costumes.

Young audiences will delight in following the monster story of the clever little Mouse trapped in a forest full of scary predators. While she manages to scare away hungry creatures including the wheeler-dealer Fox, the eccentric Owl and  the party animal Snake with her invented tales of the terrifying Gruffalo, she doesn’t count on coming face to face with the very monster she created.
