Chinese New Year

Fortitude Valley

If there's something about Chinese New Year in Brisbane that is a diehard tradition, it's to head to the Valley festivities in the Chinatown Mall.

To follow are a couple of weeks of partying Chinese style, with music, food, dance, firecrackers, puppetry, 3D lanterns, exhibitions, religious rituals, Tai Chi displays, market stalls and all with the backing of some 20 local restaurants who are taking part.
