Things To Do This Weekend 17-19 Oct
This weekend get lost in a world of food, glorious food and wine at the BGFWS, drink beer and dance the Three Hat Dance at Oktoberfest, kick back with some cool free jazz under the stars at QPAC or enjoy some large scale art at QAG for free.
New to try are a gourmet pizzeria/bakery in the inner west, an Italian kitchen and Japanese ramen house in the inner north and an enchanted fairytale café and festive beer hall in the Valley; then make time to get outdoors and enjoy the gorgeous weather with a river walk.
Meanwhile for kids there’s a Children’s Festival in Mt Coot-tha’s Botanical Gardens, Brisbane’s oldest seaside water park at Wynnum and some bouncy fun to be had in Ipswich.
