Bula Vinaka Cafe

Red Hill

BULA VINUKA HAS CLOSED PERMANENTLY AND HAS BEEN REPLACED BY LITTLE ITALY

Bula Vinaka is a quaint cafe found at Red Hill Community Sports Club serving well-brewed Campos coffee, home baked treats and light eats with a Fijian flavour.

Overlooking the bowling greens, this warm and friendly café (Bula Vinaka is Fijian for warm hello or welcome) provides plenty of seating undercover with additional dog-friendly dining available in an astro-turfed area filled with picnic tables.

Customers can enjoy the laid-back vibe while sampling delicious treats such as strawberry sundae cakes, triple chocolate brownies, red velvet cupcakes and macadamia caramel tarts.

For something more substantial, there’s acai bowls topped with crunchy granola, seasonal fruit and coconut, pancakes with Nutella or maple syrup, and the highly recommended spicy noodle cakes served with chickpea salad and house made tomato relish.

Besides coffee, there's Origin tea, Hrvst St cold-pressed juices, milkshakes and superfood smoothies.

Nice to know - Shika Furminger, who co-owns the café with her husband James, plans to introduce more Fijian and Indo-Fijian food to the menu in the future, like flavoursome curries in the cooler months.
