Newmarket Pool

The fantastic family friendly pool complex and playground, Newmarket Pool features giant Joan Miro-esque water sculptures dotted in and round the kids’ pools.

Awash with child friendly features, its wading and shallow pools incorporate a grotto, slippery slides, raining mushrooms and an inflated water playground up one end of the Olympic size main pool.

Add to this an undercover heated pool and a compact playground on the hill and there’s enough to fill a day.

With plenty of grassy slopes to spread out a towel as well as tables for a picnic, there’s also a decent kiosk serving muffins, non-greasy chips, hot dogs, sandwiches and ice blocks.
