 When city life gets you down this is the kind of spot to retreat to - an enchanted little clearing of grass, gum trees and river rocks at the end of a cul-de-sac by the river, with a bench to sit on and a swing to amuse an accompanying child.
For further evidence of having escaped reality, hidden away at the river’s edge is a toy like white and blue nautical shed, the residence of the Carrington Boat Club, complete with a traditional outdoor dunny up the rickety stairs to the rear.
