One Act Play Festival
Incinerator Theatre
The One Act Play Festival, one of the longest running of its kind in Australia, is being held in the heritage-listed Walter Burley Griffin-designed Incinerator Theatre on the edge of Queens Park, Ipswich.
Theatre fans should make tracks for this unique and quirky 3-day festival from the Ipswich Little Theatre Company, which features a wide variety of plays - dramas, comedies and farces from theatre groups all over South East Queensland.
The Our Youth plays section (actors 18 years or under) is held on Friday evening at 7.15pm and Saturday morning from 8.15am, while the One Open Play session will be held on Friday evening at 9.15pm with the remainder on Saturday afternoon at 1.30pm, Saturday evening at 7pm and Sunday morning at 8.15am.
Lastly, the 10-Minute play section is held from 2.30pm on Sunday afternoon.
