Eleven Rooftop Bar is the jewel in the crown of Brisbane’s rooftop bar scene – a cool sophisticated bar/restaurant that commands the city’s best views from its Fortitude Valley eyrie.

Take the lift to the eleventh floor and get a grip on your jaw before stepping out into the stunning wraparound space, with sweeping vistas to the south that take in the Story Bridge and CBD, east to Toohey Mountain, west to Mt Coot-tha and north to the hills of Hamilton.

Eleven Rooftop incorporates a cocktail bar, restaurant dining space, casual bar and lounge and as such is a place for all day from lunch time to the wee hours. This means that customers can kick off the weekday with stop by for a casual lunch, linger with a sunset cocktail or enjoy an evening meal or late night bite to eat, whatever takes their fancy.

The drinks menu at Eleven Rooftop is as impressive as the views – an extensive list of classic cocktails, craft and international beers, boutique wine, French champagne, premium spirits, liqueurs and aperitifs to satisfy the most discerning drinker.

Must try is the Eleven signature cocktail: Beefeater Gin, passionfruit, ginger, lemon and Angostura Bitters, otherwise there’s East India Gimlet, Cinnamon Treacle and retro classics like Peach Fizz, Mint Julep, Cosmopolitan, Pina Colada, Daiquiris and Martinis amongst the offerings.

Beer drinkers will find a generous list of craft beers along with international favs Asahi, Corona, Peroni while for wine lovers there’s a curated selection of mostly Australian regional wines, by the glass or bottle. Champagnes, meanwhile, include Louis Roederer Cristal Brut, Veuve Clicquot and Moet and Chandon.

A small premium selection of spirits come by the bottle (think Grey Goose, Absolut, Chivas 18yo blended and Bombay Sapphire gin) while whisky, rum, vodka, gin and tequila drinkers are spoilt for choice by the glass.

Food-wise, from 12-3 and 5.30-10 diners can partake in a main menu that includes lighter Nourish dishes such as Three pea Soup, Pot of Mussels or Beef Cheeks, Mains of Twice Cooked Pork Belly, Angus Beef Rib Fillet or Grilled Market Fish with Sides of Truffle Mac, Waldorf salad or Chips; and, to follow, Cheeseboard, Rooftop Honey and Figs with Ginger and Lime Panna Cotta or Parfait.

Nibbles/tapas are available from 12 through to 10pm and includes assorted sandwiches or wraps and Spiced lamb Filo Roll, Rice Noodle or Broccoli Salad.
