Farmor's Crepes

Sandgate

FARMOR'S CREPES HAS CLOSED AND BEEN REPLACED BY 3 BLIND MICE CAFE.

Farmor’s Crepes is a funky postage-stamp sized eatery in a line-up of revamped 1950s shops, that dishes up sweet and savoury crepes by day and gourmet burgers on weekend nights.

Seating is al fresco on the wide covered footpath, shared with the other cute little line-up of businesses in this retro shopping strip. Here diners get to chow down on a small but delicious range of sweet or savoury crepes, bagels, Swedish pastries and, come Friday and evening when laneway Cardigan Bar next door is open for business, delicious burgers and a range of sides.

Smoked salmon and avocado fillings with flowers on a plate

On the crepe menu, sweet choices are lemon and sugar, Nutella and banana or maple syrup and ice-cream, while savoury includes deli ham, Swiss cheese and honey, BLT (bacon, rocket, tomato, aioli and fries), Goats cheese, capers and rocket or sauteed mushrooms with truffle pesto, Taleggio cheese and rocket.

Otherwise bagels come with smoked salmon and avocado fillings and, for something special, try one of their handmade Swedish pastries (by the Swedish gals from Brisbane’s Scandinaviyum) that go down a treat with the excellent in-house coffee.
