Five Flavours Beer Festival, Brisbane's fav seasonal beer and food fest returns for the Ekka public holiday, bringing the best the city has to offer in boutique beer and cider, delicious food, wine, views. dogs and live music acts to Riverlife's iconic waterfront setting.

A Beer vs Cider face-off will be a star attraction at this unique dog-friendly event, which starts at 1pm and carries on until 8pm by the heritage listed naval stores with the city lights as a backdrop.

For the occasion, Riverlife has teamed up Brew Dog (beer) and Hills Cider, who'll be fighting it out in the beer vs cider battle. And even if you're not a beer or cider fan, there'll be a choice of wine and soft drinks available.

On the food front there'll be 4 flavours of delicious street food to choose from: chilli beef and bean nachos with sour cream, guacamole and tomato salsa (vegan and vego options available), pulled pork bao served with sriracha and herb slaw, chicken karaage curry and rice, or lamb yiros (slow cooked lamb shoulder wiith tabouleh, lettuce, tomato and garlic yoghurt dressing.

Non-stop entertainment to kick back and lounge about comes from talented local acoustic performers and this year for the first time punters are able to bring their dogs along.

Note that special dietary requirements can be catered for if notified at least 7 days in advance.
