Briny Restaurant And Bar
Fortitude Valley
BRINY RESTAURANT AND BAR HAS PERMANENTLY CLOSED.
Briny Restaurant and Bar has converted an old war igloo into a stunning seafood restaurant in their Fortitude Valley location.
The restaurant resides within one of Brisbane’s most unique buildings, making the most of the expansive space in a war igloo. The igloo was erected after the war in 1950.
Since then, a façade has been added to the front, but the structure remains the same, with a few additions, such as a stained glass divider.
Briny has renovated the igloo to include many dining tables as well as booths and seaside inspired decor. There’s also a huge outdoor courtyard that is just as picturesque as the igloo.
Briny is focused on serving high-quality seafood, with a bespoke menu of dishes from oyster alcoholic shots, to abalone, to pipis.
They also serve pasta dishes, chicken wings and other Asian inspired dishes.
The bespoke eatery is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as creating a great spot to pass by for your morning coffee.
Need to know – Nearby paid street parking is available.
Nice to know – Everything is fresh and cooked to order.
