Queensland Cyclocross

Underwood Park will be hosting Round 3 of the South East Queensland Cyclocross Series when it comes to Underwood in the City of Logan for the very first time.

Queensland Cyclocross in conjunction with RATS Cycling Club are delighted to announce Round 3 of the South East Queensland Cyclocross Series (SE QLD CX Series) will be held at Underwood Park, City of Logan on Sunday, 17th June 2018.

This will be the first time a cyclocross event will be held at Underwood Park since the formation of Queensland Cyclocross in 2012.

While local elite racers will be battling it out for series points, there will also be fun kids races for Balance Bikes, Under 11’s, Under 13’s and Under 15’s. Kids also race for free at Queensland Cyclocross events, they just require a valid MTBA membership for insurance purposes. In addition to the kids races there will also be our C Grade/Come and Try category for new people to cyclocross and our faster A and B Grades.

Nice to know - Since its formation, the Queensland Cyclocross season has grown to include six local races at various venues across Brisbane. In 2018, in addition to the regular season they will also play host to two rounds of the MTBA National Cyclocross Series.
