Bar Jardin

Petrie Terrace

Bar Jardin is a leafy, chic courtyard bar and 'little baby' of stunning French-Vietnamese Libertine Restaurant at The Barracks, Petrie Terrace.

The perfect place to relax and while away a summer afternoon with a luscious cocktail, ice cold draught beer or glass of wine, Bar Jardin is also the spot for a late night snack and nightcap after a movie.

Bar Jardin Petrie Terrace

Cocktails are a house specialty, with fruity favourites including the Libertini, GG & T (Jinzu gin, fever tree tonic and pomegranate smoked rosemary) and the must try Snap Dragon (42 Below Passionfruit Vodka, peach liqueur, raspberry puree and lemon juice).

Another star attraction here at Bar Jardin is the food, a delicious balance of French-Vietnamese food to complement what is served inside at Libertine.

Bar Jardin Petrie Terrace

Recommended is the Coconut Crab Sandwich (brioche with crab, coconut fresh herbs and salad), Roast BBQ Duck Crepe ( Asian grilled pancake with spiced cherry glace, cucumber, fried eschallot, micro herbs & spring onion), Green Papaya Salad and the Fleur de Sel, made with fresh sliced radishes, cultured lemon and sea salt butter and lightly toasted French baguette.

Bar Jardin Petrie Terrace

Nice to know – Make a day/night of it by combining drinks and snacks with dinner at Libertine The heritage listed dining room is jaw-dropping, with beautiful chandeliers and decadent wallpapers and the delectable menu is a match for the surrounds.
