We regret to advise that due to an unforeseen scheduling conflict,
the upcoming Michael Che tour is being cancelled.

One of Rolling Stone’s “50 Funniest People”, American comedian and Saturday Night Live star, Michael Che, brings his hilarious show, Michael Che Live to the Tivoli Theatre on Tuesday, April 24.

Fans of Saturday Night Live will know Che’s particular brand of cutting satire from when he co-anchors the iconic “Weekend Update” segment with Colin Jost. He’s not only a very funny guy on screen but also a staff writer for the show, so Australian audiences should prepare themselves for some big laughs when he tours down under.

Che’s list of credentials is long and impressive and you might remember him from when he was a regular correspondent on The Daily Show back when Jon Stewart hosted. If you want to get a taste of what he’s got to offer on stage, check out his recently released first hour-long stand-up special on Netflix, Michael Che Matters.

In 2013, Che headlined a hit month-long run of his live show, Cartoon Violence, at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and has performed at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival as well as the invitation-only Just For Laughs in Montreal. He made it into Buzzfeed’s “50 Hottest Men in Comedy” and Variety’s “Top 10 Comics to Watch”, with the Herald Sun saying of his show: “Superstardom appears inevitable, get in quick”. Sounds like good advice.

Nice to know - Michael Che Live is presented by Live Nation.
