Stung By The Hornet

Treasury Brisbane

Treasury Brisbane is hosting Stung by the Hornet, an exclusive event with WBO Welterweight Champion, Jeff Horn and trainer, Glenn Rushton in The Hotel Courtyard, on Saturday November 18th at 6pm.

Channel 7 Sports Editor and Master of Ceremonies, Pat Welsh will join the world champion and his renaissance man live on stage and lead guests on a behind-the-scenes journey into the inner workings of The Hornet’s nest.

Jeff Horn

Guests will enjoy a three-course dinner and beverage package whilst Horn recounts the moments that have shaped him and the events that propelled a quiet Brisbane school-boy to world-wide acclaim.

Jeff Horn

The dynamic duo will deliver a knockout performance when they share their stories of blood, sweat and tears – recounting the path to defeating Filipino slugger, Manny Pacquio and his determination to go the distance and defeat ‘Hell Raiser’, Gary Corcoran in the upcoming title defence fight on Wednesday 13 December.

Treasury Brisbane Chief Operating Officer, Kelvin Dodt expects tickets to the event will sell out quickly.

“Jeff Horn has resurrected boxing in Australia and captured the hearts of many Brisbane locals. A glimpse into the private and professional world of our own world champion and the recent surge in city pride is sure to be reflected in a sell-out event of this calibre” he said.
