Classic family favourite movie Chicken Run is being screened within the historic walls of Brisbane’s notorious Boggo Road Gaol.
The comedy escape drama with a touch of passion is set on a Yorkshire chicken farm in 1950s England. The story follows the turbulent romance between two farmyard chickens, Rocky and Ginger, who yearn for freedom and plan a daring prisoner of war style escape.
A perfect night out for families, who have the choice of turning up for the movie (which starts at 7pm) or combining with a fascinating 1 hour History or Escapes tour of the heritage-listed gaol at 5pm, this event is set to be a memorable one for all who attend.
Need to know - Arrive for movie at 6.45pm, for tour at 4.45pm.
