The 13-Storey Treehouse, based on the best-selling book by Andy Griffiths and Terry Denton is brought to magical life on the QPAC stage this Easter school holiday with a hilarious cast and moments of theatrical wizardry.
Audience members are invited to ‘use their imagination’ in this stunning adaptation by Richard Tulloch (The Book of Everything, Bananas in Pyjamas), which has just enjoyed a sell-out season at the Sydney Opera House.
The ‘anything goes’ brilliant show starts with one pressing problem - they forgot to write it! So where will they find flying cats, a mermaid, a sea monster, an invasion of monkeys, and a giant gorilla? Luckily the theatre has an extensive prop and costume collection and some very impressive stage technology.
Need to know – The 13-Storey Treehouse is recommended for ages 6 and up.
