Meet The Chamber Orchestra

A Family Concert

A unique interactive concert especially for families with younger children*, Meet the Chamber Orchestra offers a one-off opportunity to go behind-the-scenes with one of Australia’s finest small orchestras, Camerata of St John’s.

The Brisbane-based unconducted chamber orchestra is renowned for its creative and interesting programming, incorporating music of both classical and non-classical genres and from different eras. In Meet the Orchestra, its first and much-anticipated visit to Ipswich, the performance takes the form of an interactive concert and workshop, with some audience members even being invited to contribute to the music-making.

In addition there’s the (free) opportunity to ‘Meet and Greet’ the performers after the show.

Need to know – *The concert is ideally suited to families with children aged from 3-8 years. Take the opportunity to save up to $62 per family by purchasing tickets to another fabulous family show at Easter – Circa’s Carnival of the Animals.
