Inkuku is a beautiful treasure trove of free trade homewares, gifts, trinkets and jewellery found in the basement of Ipswich’s historic Old Flour Mill.

Well worth paying a visit to when in Ipswich, Inkiku stocks handmade goods and wares sourced from some 20 countries throuhgout Asia, Africa, India, Central and South America.

On the shelves you’ll find gorgeous Raku Pottery from South Africa, gaily painted earthenware vases, urns and boxes from Mexico, knife-carved Kisii Stone objects from Kenya, South American trinket boxes and Swazi candles and beaded insects also from Africa.

Necklaces and jewellery

There’s ornate silver jewellery pieces from the Karen Hill Tribe and stunning and decorative Haitian steel drum wall art, which the artists cut and shape by hand.

In addition there are cute ceremonial Ndebele Dolls, tiny Worry Dolls, tin bookmarks, gorgeous Mali Mudcloth scarves, pure silk jewellery rolls, ornate leather tealight holders and exquisite sari coin purses.
