Brisbane's Spirit Bars
In the spirit of providing the best possible drinking experience for aficionados of whisky, rum and gin we thought it was high time to bring out the Brisbane bars that specialize in the aforementioned spirits. And in doing so, give those who are somewhat bored with their current tipple something new to think/ drink about.
Since Brisbane’s first whisky bar Nant opened its doors in the Emporium a few years back, others have followed suit, not just in the whisky realm, but also rum and gin. For instance, the southern hemisphere’s largest rum bar is situated in Brisbane.
It must be noted here that this is not an encouragement for people to imbibe more alcohol, but rather to drink for the taste of it. And to potentially discover flavours you never knew existed (rums that taste like whisky, for instance), which is what most of these bars are about.
