In a worker's cottage down a dead end street littered with commercial businesses lies a little piece of Italy - part pasta factory, part deli providore and part café.
For over ten years now Salvatore and wife Kerryn have been running the family pasta business, supplying fresh pasta, sauces and pizza of the highest quality wholesale to businesses and the public and have since expanded upstairs into this charming little timber-floored cottage with Pizza Pasta Deli, their in-house eatery and providore.
Drop in at any time of day for a $2 espresso or at lunchtime for a freshly made pizza (toppings range from traditional to Oz faves) or panini and for groups of diners Sal can also whip up a delicious pasta lunch on request.
Otherwise this is the place to pick up a batch of fresh pasta (along with the traditional lasagne, papardelle, fettuccine, tagliatelle and linguine, specialties include Peking duck ravioli and exotic black squid linguini) , Italian cheeses and oils. On the shelves can also be found a niche quality selection of grissini, olives, sauces, vinegars, dried mushrooms, biscotti and wafers.
