In the compact aisles can be found Griffin biscuits, Whittakers chocolates, Watties sauces, lemon and paeroa drinks and frozen paua meat.

The jam and spreadable range is impressive and includes bramble and crabapple jams, kiwifruit conserves and flavoured honeys along with the more obscure New Zealand marmite.

Those who splash out for their groceries may be eligible to receive a complimentary tea or coffee to enjoy on the porch while watching the free range geese and chickens strut their stuff.
