 The lower Vulture St entrance contains the deli and upstairs at the rear is the grocery section to this mecca of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern groceries.
Along with the lush array of plump olives and antipasto in the deli is a sizable collection of Greek sweets and pastries while upstairs is a bulk food buyer’s dream.
Shoppers can self-serve from a tank of olive oil or from sacks of coffee beans, pulses, beans and nuts. Bulging in the refrigerated section can be found oversized tubs of taramaslata, baba ghanoush and pesto, an impressive range of frozen and smoked meats and sausages, Greek, Italian and Bulgarian cheeses and buckets of yoghurt while on the shelves live a huge range of spices and herbs, pastas, biscuits and canned vegetables.
