Sequestered on the fringe of leafy Wellington Point village lies one of Brisbane’s best patisseries, courtesy of owner and one time pastry chef at Jocelyn’s Provisions Noeline Rogers.
Here the artisan touches are evident before entering the store with the window display a taste of what to expect inside. All items, savoury and sweet, including the chocolates are handmade on the premises and at the base of all bakery products is New Zealand butter.
Offerings include melt-in-the-mouth goats cheese and herb or vegetable quiches, crushed mandarin cake, ginger brulee, Florentines and to-die-for truffles, none of which are cheap but the prices are more than compensated for by the sheer quality.
