This absolute gem of a little no frills eatery, run by a congenial Spanish family who recently arrived from Malaga, serves up what would have to be the most authentic Spanish food in Brisbane. In fact anyone who's travelled to Spain and misses those little stumble across restaurants where you can grab a bocadillo (omelette sandwich), tortilla, pollo or paella, patatas fritas or churros and hot chocolate, should catch a train direct to Lindum Station, for it is here in a basic little line-up of shops attached to the station, that you will find this tiny slice of Spain.
Open for breakfast and lunch daily and dinner six days, the breakfast menu includes bocadillos, huevo con chorizo (the owners import their own chorizo), toast with tomato and olive oil or scrambled eggs with jamon.

Lunch and dinner can be taken as tapas or main size and on the menu are Spanish tortilla, garlic prawns, ensaladilla, pollo (chicken), meatballs or pork with tomato salsa, hand cut patatas fritas or paella. Note that the paella must be pre-ordered and comes with choices of seafood, chorizo and chicken combos according to request. Then to finish with something sweet there's bisccocho (sponge cake) or churros and hot chocolate.
Those who expect Spanish food to come with mosaics and trimmings will not find them here but those looking for excellent home-made rustic Spanish food that is as authentic as it gets are in the right place.
