Like the proverbial rose in the desert, this little gem of a bistro/café somehow miraculously sprung to life in the most unlikely venue for an eatery let alone one of this quality.

Sandwiched between a TAB a Police Beat and a personal training studio in a featureless concrete building, it has injected some soul into what was a bit of a no-man’s land.

With dark glossy walls and black vinyl tables and chairs inside and out, the décor is simple, as is the food. But it is the very simplicity that makes the food outstanding – adding an Asian twist to a standard menu, for instance delicious crispy skin chicken with asian coleslaw and lemon myrtle fried rice, pumpkin chilli risotto or grilled pork chop with glass noodles.

The portions are perfect size for lunch and the prices are even better. Averaging $10-$12 this is not only the best value but amongst the most delicious to be found in Milton and surrounds.
