Nestled in the far corner of the little Ashgrove West shopping centre is this slick modern Japanese eatery, tastefully decked out in pale polished timber and dishing up tasty well-priced food.

The menu covers all of the usual Japanese suspects – rice bowl curries, sizzling teriyaki, udon (noodle soup) and tempura, sashimi and nigiri sushi, lunch and dinner bento boxes – with the house specialty being the Osaka Special Rolls.(Try the torched salmon or torched tuna).

In house drinks include hot or cold Japanese teas or herbals such as lemon and ginger and there's also a takeaway lunch and dinner menu.

While drive-up parking spots are like hen's teeth, there's plenty of undercover parking.
