This bright little gem of an eatery is tucked away in UQ's fave dining village where it does a hefty trade keeping cash-strapped students healthy with its delicious fare. And they should be so lucky because on their doorstep is what is arguably the best (top value) vegetarian food to be had in the west, if not Brisbane.

The menu may be compact but there's nothing to throw away here, on the contrary the items are all tried and tested favourites that keep 'em coming back for more. The Bliss Burger (premise made lentil pattie with fruit relish & salad) is legend as is the Sri Lankan Platter – a dainty yet filling assortment of divine spicy eggplant curry, chilli carrot, dahl and rice. Otherwise there's BBQ tofu, Malay Rojak (shredded veges with brown rice and in-house peanut satay) or Mexican beans and salsa on rice or in a tortilla with sour cream & cheese.

Breakfasts on weekdays (served until 10) are a light affair and light on the pocket with highlights mushrooms and herb butter or Mexican chilli beans on toast while on Saturdays (served until 12 ) there are more substantial options like scrambled tofu, eggs Florentine as well as vegan French toast.

Worth noting: All dishes also come as an option of vegan or gluten free and this is an alcohol free diner (no BYO).
