This tiny no-frills eatery in a careworn shopping centre is a worthy stop for a dose of hearty Pacific Islander home cooking.
All food is served up from bain-maries and at any time there's a choice of about 6 dishes at prices that would put the fast food franchises to shame.
Try the more-ish coconut milk wrapped in taro leaves and the tender slow cooked lamb, accompanied by traditional taro chunks baked in coconut cream and have change from $10.
Otherwise there's pork hock, vegetable stir fries, or sweet and savoury buns of the German or coconut variety as well as moon or pineapple pies, all served with a smile and a huge helping of Islander hospitality.
