At the far reach of a retro 1960s arcade lies this authentic African eatery with annexed games room.The food is rustic, cheap and stew-based and made to be eaten with the hands, mopped up with Injera, a more-ish sourdough flatbread, and is also ideal for group dining.

Staples include Kifto – a seasoned beef and chilli dish with butter sauce, shiro wot – a split green pea stew, and Gomen be Sega – beef, peepers onion and spinach in cardamom and peppercorns.

Although beef and lamb are the backing ingredients for the majority of dishes, vegetarian options available are a lentil stew or Yakakilt Wat – carrot, potatro, green pepper, cabbage and onions sautéed in garlic, tomatoes and ginger.

For the full experience in house chilled Ethiopian beers go down a treat with the meals and follow up with an Ethiopian coffee.
