Loving Hut

Mt Gravatt

Updated: Nov 18, 2025

Vegans and vegetarians with or without children will find plenty to enjoy at The Loving Hut, a no frills vegan eatery in the middle of a 1960s shopping strip at Mt Gravatt.

The Pan Asian menu, though restrained with flavour due to a lack of additives, is fresh and plentiful and borrows from southeast Asia, as well as a little from the West. Unsurprisingly, tofu features heavily in both entrees such as the light tofu puffs, a filling in the crispy bean curd pancakes, and in stir fry dishes. Non-tofu enthusiasts needn’t worry though – there are plenty of options such as the delicious crescent dumplings and fried rice dishes.

Look out for popular dishes such as Chick Pea Masala, Garlic Butter Cutlet, Crispy Chow Mein, Satay Nuggets and Rawsome Spaghetti. In addition there's salads, soups and desserts such as vegan ice cream, raw chocolate or berry cake

Best of all for those with young offspring in tow is the corner playhouse and mat with toys which has been thoughtfully provided.

Good to know - There's a small of vegan grocery items for sale.

The menu may have changed since our visit.
