A courtyard bar, cottage dining and stunning views over Paddington's tin and timber clad hills are but a few of the abundant charms of Kettle and Tin, the latest bar eatery to grace Given Tce where Pandemonium once ruled.

This is the kind of place you can arrive for breakfast, stay for lunch and find yourself with cocktail in hand after sunset, wondering where the day went. And that's what the owners of K&T (and Ponycat) have created, an all day kind of drop in joint with fantastic Giancarlo coffee to wake up to, a carefully crafted breakfast, lunch and dinner menu and top shelf wines, micro brew beers, spirits and a mean list of cocktails.

Big portion lovers need not apply as the dishes are about quality not quantity – on the menu are house specialties like duck gumbo and whole poisson as mains and as starters, ideal for sharing tapas style – Kettle & Tin terrine, gooey 3 cheese beignet or paprika dusted whitebait.

Drink wise, wines hail from France, Spain Italy, NZ and Australia, beers from the Burleigh Brewing Co (also on tap), NSW and NZ, while cocktails (think spiced pineapple margharitas, sherbet martinis and dark chocolate negronis) are something of a religion at K&T, with a whole section devoted to Hail Mary's.
