Off a busy corner of Lytton Rd lies one of Brisbane’s best fish’n’chip shops. Although there is seating inside or in a tiny courtyard adjacent to the car park, its proximity to one of Brisbane’s stately riverfront parks with shaded picnic tables makes it a no-brainer for a splendid takeaway.

Either way the fish is succulent and the freshest you’ll find at any inner city outlet and the chips are tasty and non-greasy. Or go beyond the traditional for gourmet options such as Tahitian Lime coconut cream Dory, chargrilled chilli octopus, lemongrass snapper and Moroccan barramundi.

While all of the meals come in at under $20 with chips included once you add salads the specials enter the $20-$25 range.
