Since the day it opened Buzz has created, well, a buzz amongst residents of the Tennyson apartment blocks who are blessed to have such a culinary destination within their midst.
Co-owner and chef Daniel Edwards (of Buzz Emporium fame) has brought to the riverside his creative touch with a café come bistro style menu that is entirely baked and made in-house and that would keep any inner city dweller more than happy.
Starting with breakfast, (served until 11.30) the menu is a mix of a la carte (think ricotta hot cakes with candied bacon, truffled scrambled eggs on pan-fried sourdough or banana and pistachio bread) and build-your-own dishes from a list involving potato and corned beef rosti, bubble and squeak, Boston beans with parmesan, eggs any way, lamb's fry and bacon or avocado salsa.

After 11.30 and through till 3pm a few of these items (including hotcakes, truffled eggs) are joined by some Croque & Madame Monsieurs as a daily brunch along with other light items like fresh chicken sandwiches.
On the lunch and dinner menu (which varies) expect to find Wagyu beef burgers, Spanner crab linguine and the stand out melt-in-the-mouth crispy pork belly with eggplant relish.
Again all desserts and sweet treats are baked daily on premise by Daniel, from the muffins, cookies and tarts to his signature passionfruit soufflé which is made to order.
Children are welcome, with a small children's menu that all comes in at under $10 and is a cut above the usual – boiled egg soldiers, cheese and tomato fingers, mini Wagyu burgers and linguine Bolognese.
Drinks wise, the coffee is well made di Bella, the tea from Byron Bay and currently Buzz is awaiting its liquor license.
