This Eastern European deli and grocer is a source of all things Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian and a great place to stock up on foodstuffs from those regions.

Spreads ranging from plum compote, fig jam and Euro cream to savoury breakfast spread Ajvar, turkey and liver pastes, canned gulash and pickled cabbage heads and leaves can be found on the shelves, as can bottled peppers, Bosnian coffee beans and floral and herbal teas.

The deli section is a treat, with pork hock and loin, Halal sudjuk, Sremska sausages mild and hot, and Sarajevo salami, as well as Bulgarian sheep's cheese, ricotta and haloumi.

Bureks, the traditional flaky pastry snack filled with cheese, beef and onion or cheese and spinach are available, delicious, and made locally.

Note that Brusnica is closed on the last Monday of each month.
